Group BTS Jungkook's global hit song "Seven" remained at the top of the U.S. Billboard "Global 200" and "Global" (excluding the U.S.) for the first seven consecutive weeks as an Asian singer's song. 


It is the longest charting record for a K-pop solo artist this year.

"Seven" debuted at No. 1 on this year's Global 200 and topped the list for seven consecutive weeks, beating Miley Cyrus' "Flowers," which entered the top spot in January and remained at the top for six consecutive weeks, Billboard said on the 6th (local time).

"Seven" climbed four spots from the previous week to 28th on the Billboard main single chart "Hot 100." Jungkook was also nominated for the "Song of Summer" category at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (2023 MTV VMA).
