Nana's unconventional acting in Netflix's "Mask Girl" released on the 18th is drawing attention.

Netflix's "Mask Girl" is a drama based on a webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of Kim Mo-mi, an ordinary office worker with an appearance complex, being caught up in an unexpected incident while working as an Internet broadcasting BJ with her face covered with a mask every night.

Actors Lee Han-byeol, Nana, and Ko Hyun-jung were cast to play the main character Kim Mo-mi. Among them, Nana played the role of Kim Momi B, who lives as a colorful showgirl with the appearance she dreamed of with plastic surgery.

In particular, Nana showed an unconventional all-nude performance by exposing her naked body in the play.

Nana said at a production presentation for "Mask Girl" on the 16th, "Kim Mo-mi, who I played in the middle, had a lot of emotional and temporal jumps. So I talked a lot with the director to focus on the situation as much as possible for each scene," he said, adding that he tried to digest the character.

He said he also danced for the character after a long time since his singing career, adding, "It was new to film a scene where he danced while acting in a drama, not on stage."

Regarding the somewhat unconventional development, "It can be heavy and dark, but the fantasy elements felt fresh in between. It was an honor to be with Ko Hyun-jung. "I really wanted to grab this opportunity," he said.

Meanwhile, "Mask Girl" ranked fifth in the global rankings of Netflix TV series released by "Flix Patrol," an OTT content viewing ranking aggregation site, on the 21st. "Mask Girl" topped the list in seven countries, including Korea, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
